During the last decade there has been a mythical and highly fictional films that were released, criticism and controversy to weigh. While one or two will be mentioned later in this reading. Perhaps it is too trivial for this article was relentless carp about how Hollywood and other means of production “zones” have stretched our imagination to the extreme levels of movies exaggerated. In my opinion, some films are just “out of it”, so to speak. I mean, some go so far as “an insult to our intelligence,” as one critic put it. The source of the myths that are important themes in many of these “successful” films containing old folk tales, and sometimes silly ideas that are common and generally accepted. Let’s call fiction.
Movies based on real events or events seem more guilty of spreading misconceptions or myths (and legends that some prefer to call them). This is especially true if the topic or theme of the film is a widespread view or a very popular public event. 2004 Mel Gibson film “The Passion of the Christ” is a film of such. The film was based on true events that happened to Jesus Christ during his time on earth. Many have raved about the accuracy of representations and the exact events that occur in the film. Of course, some do not even think he [Jesus] existed. Mel Gibson cut a mere U.S. $ 370 million of restaurants – and curiosity.
Pearl Harbor, produced by Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Randy Wallace in 2001 suffered a lot of grief – and rightly so, perhaps. Pearl Harbor was essentially a transformation of the facts, especially the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in late 1920. I took a berth in one of the survivors, Lawrence SUID have lost some important elements of real history. He seemed to think (like many other survivors) that the producers of the film focused on the film elements. It contains a lot of facts, misleading, besides missing some important details. According to Lawrence, the movie was not a lack of exaggeration in the actual scenes that deliberately changed to make the film more dramatic. In short, controversy sells.
The producers of these films are very aware of the furious appetite of those myths, and controversial material. Judging by the figures of box office sales, film producers know that this is fact and not pace.
