The man with the pollution continues destroying an important part of the atmosphere of the earth’s ozone layer. First, what is known as the ozone hole is a hole at all. What is known as the ozone hole and that most times there is talk at the South Pole, although to a lesser extent over the North Pole is a great example of a thinning of the ozone layer in these places .
The ozone layer has protected the population of the earth from harmful cosmic rays for billions of years and that is why there is currently great concern about the increasing deterioration of this layer. Although it is believed that the ozone hole will decrease in the future, we must take great care with the use of gas and oil consumption.
In May 1985, a team from the British Antarctic Survey, Joseph Farman, Brian Gardiner and Jonathan Shanklin, completed a research study of ozone over Antarctica and concluded that there was a decline of 10 percent of the thickness of the ozone layer to normal the area, according to TheOzoneHole
A normal part of the ozone layer protects the earth from harmful ultraviolet light from the sun. Although Antarctica is uninhabited, the hole extends to the tip of South America.
Speaking of the ozone hole does not mean that the ozone layer is completely dissolved, but is actually a thinning of the ozone layer, ranging from 50 to 90 percent loss in the area of hole.
The ozone hole is likely to become a bigger problem if not done a good reduction of global pollution. Abuse of human-produced gases, increasing global warming and other ecological factors, are the main causes of the destruction and deterioration of the ozone layer, which is why there are now thousands of campaigns around the world to prevent and try to reduce the causes of the ozone hole.
Many schools have enabled educational programs which are aimed at teaching children some basic rules to help protect the environment and the ozone layer, so that the future can have a planet in better shape.
