10 Of The World’s Most Unusual Sofas

Man in the beginning would sit on the floor. Then they moved on to rocks. When man discovered tools, rock benches were chiselled, and later wooden and marble benches were created.

As man progressed, the hard benches were softened using cushions. These cushioned up benches started evolving, from a long platform to various shapes and sizes.

Then the sofas got weird…

1. Meet the Cow Sofa: Created by Rodolfo Rochetti from Rome. He is a master upholsterer from Tappezzeria Rocchetti.

2. The East Meets West Carpet Sofa was the creation of Dutch artist Tonio de Roover. It gives the feeling of Aladdin’s magic carpet. Too bad, a genie lamp is not included.

3. The Montanara Sofa brings nature to your living room. Waterfalls, mountains, untouched scenery created by the cushions, and the framework of the sofa. The creative designer for this masterpiece is Gaetano Pesce.
